Creative Kids!
Winter School Holiday Program
Join us for a whole week of creative fun, learning about God, team challenges, music and yummy food!
Our 5-day school holiday program runs in the first week of the winter/July school holidays, for school kids in years K to 6. Running from 9am – 3pm each day, it includes lots of activities and on-site catering for morning tea, lunch (with desert!) and afternoon tea.
Kids choose two creative electives to participate in each day across the week. Elective choices vary each year and typically include choices such as Art & Craft; Baking; Sport; Woodwork; Minecraft….
On the final day of Creative Kids! parents/carers are invited to a Showcase and afternoon tea, featuring the fabulous creative talent of the kids.
Creative Kids! is a program created and lead by volunteers from the Willoughby & Northbridge Uniting Church community. All volunteers have a current Working With Children Check. We run the program simply to share God’s joy with our local community through creative fun.
Creative Kids is full of energy and noise – and we understand the need for some time-out. We have a supervised sensory / quiet space that is available at all times during CK. Please contact the church office if you have any questions about accessibility for your child.
CK Space Agency! 6-10 July 2026
This year Creative Kids is going further than ever before – into space!
Join the crew of the Starship Light Source as they explore our solar system, learn about light and its powerful message for the world.
Come along to the CK Space Agency for a week of out-of-this-world creative fun.
We have a stellar line-up of electives to choose from, where kids will spend time each day preparing spectacular creations for the Friday Showcase.

2025 A Super CK!
What a week of superhero adventure – we saw superhero’s flying, zooming, spinning and appearing all over the place! In amongst amazing demonstrations of creative skill in the team challenges and across the electives, we learnt about Jesus’ amazing powers: like walking on water, healing a blind man, calming storms and coming back to life! Jesus proved he is the ultimate superhero!
2024 Knights of Compassion
Together we went on a journey to discover the Knight’s Code for living a life filled with compassion. From lessons taught by Jesus we learnt to love God, have compassion for others, compassion for nature, compassion for yourself, and to be part of a community. We had so much fun exploring the world of medieval knights and learning new creative skills.
2023 A Promising Adventure
We discovered five of the promises God has made to us: God’s rainbow promise (to never flood the whole earth again), God’s promise to send a saviour, God’s promise to care for us; God’s promise to forgive us, and God’s promise to always be with us.
2022 Bible Circus
We had fun in our very own circus Big Top, and learnt the stories of some amazing bible characters: Sarah the Laughing Lady, Samson the Strongman, Three Fiery Friends, Daniel the Lion Tamer, and Jesus the Greatest Magician.
